Troubleshooting GPS Signal Issues at the Course
If your device fails to establish a GPS signal after starting your round at the course, follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
1. End the Search for the Course
If the device is stuck searching for a GPS signal, exit the search process and return to the main screen. This will stop the device from continuously trying to locate a signal and give you the opportunity to try again.
2. Restart Your Device
To reset the GPS functionality, power off the device completely. Wait for 10-15 seconds, then power it back on. Restarting your device can help it re-establish a fresh connection to the GPS satellites.
3. Start Your Round Again
After restarting, attempt to start your round again. The GPS signal may take a minute or two to establish, especially if you are in a densely wooded or more remote area. During this time, ensure you keep an eye on the watch. If the GPS signal is found, you’ll be prompted to begin the round.
Important: If you start playing before completing the round setup (while the GPS signal is still searching), the watch may return to the home screen due to inactivity after the GPS signal is found. To prevent this, make sure to complete the round setup promptly once the GPS signal is acquired.
Note:
