How to Start a Round on Your Shot Scope Device

Follow these steps to easily start a round on your Shot Scope device:

Press the top right button to power on your Shot Scope. If the watch is locked, press the bottom left button to unlock the screen.

Once the watch is unlocked, press the ‘Select’ button (top right) to enter the main menu.

In the main menu, navigate to and select ‘Play Golf’ to begin setting up your round.

Wait for GPS Signal
The watch will search for a GPS signal and should get a fix within a few minutes. The first time you use the watch, it may take a little longer to acquire a GPS fix. Be sure to give it enough time for a strong signal.
Display of Nearby Courses
The watch will automatically display any golf courses within 1km of your current location. The nearest two courses will be displayed on the screen.
Navigate to Your Desired Course
To view other nearby courses, navigate up or down using the left buttons on the device.
Confirm Your Course Selection
Once the course you wish to play is highlighted in white, press ‘Select’ to confirm your choice. The watch will begin searching for a GPS signal.
Tip: We recommend starting your round just before you reach the first tee to allow the watch time to acquire a solid GPS signal.

Choose Your Tee
After selecting your course, you will be prompted to choose the tees you are playing from. Navigate through the list of available tees using the up and down buttons.
Confirm Your Tee Selection
Once you find the correct tee, confirm your selection by pressing the ‘Select’ button.

Enable Scoring (Optional)
The watch will prompt you to choose whether or not you want to keep score during your round. If you wish to track your score, simply select ‘Yes’ to turn on the scoring feature.
Disable Scoring (Optional)
If you prefer not to keep score, you can select ‘No’ or turn off the scoring feature in the settings menu.
Note: Scoring can be toggled on or off at any time during your round, depending on your preferences.

Now you’re ready to play!

First Time GPS Fix: If this is your first time using the watch, it may take slightly longer to acquire the GPS signal. Give it a few minutes for the best result.
